"This is such a great book all the way around. You have many things going on, yet the story is not a clutter. It’s also fabulous because there is a woman hero for a change! If you want a great HEA book with woman heroism, I highly recommend this book. I know this will be on my list to reread, it’s that good!"

From the review: "This is my first book by this author, but it will not be my last. The author weaves a tale that is one part romance and one part adventure…the reader is able to predict some of the plot as the twists and turns don’t distract the reader from what they see happening. The author’s writing style flows at a break neck pace and before the reader realizes it, the story is over. The reader is both upset that the book has ended but at the same time wants to know what ultimately happens to Katie and her “detective” ways."

Long and Short Reviews gives 'The Naughty List' anthology four stars

Excerpts from the Long and Shorts Reviews review of "The Naughty List" anthology, which features Pumpkin Spice's short story, "My Midnight Cowboy."

"This naughty list has something to please every reader. Anthologies are sometimes a tough read when you have to consider each story, good or bad, into your overall rating for the collection.

"My Midnight Cowboy was stunning and I think my favorite story from the anthology. Pumpkin Spice is a new author for me-partly because of the name. It put me off a bit. But no more.

"I’m hooked. Her style was absolutely electrifying and I am going to get every book she has. The sensual nature of her sex scenes, the buildup of emotion. Holy wow. Fan girl swoon. Loved it and want more. I hope this book gets released as a series because it would rock the house.

"Overall, the anthology was a 4/5 for me due to the mixed quality of the stories. Such strong presences by Reisz, Spice and Sparrow made it worth the read and will no doubt have me coming back for more from these authors. If you want a fun holiday mix, give these stories a try."

'Scarlett Hood & the Hunter ' is Editor's Pick, Readers' Choice Finalist

Pumpkin Spice's debut novel — Scarlett Hood & the Hunter — was nominated by readers as a finalist in the 2015 Third Annual Evernight Readers' Choice Awards.

'Scarlett' was a standout at the awards — it was nominated only a month after its release, competing with others that had been out for up to a year, and became a finalist.

Excerpts from the Night Owl Reviews review of Pumpkin Spice's "Goldie Locks & the Three Brothers Bear"

"...This book was really cute and insanely funny. The amount of fairytale puns contained in this short book was terribly awesome and cracked me up every time! I have not read the first book in the series (it’s on my to-do list)

but you don’t really need to read them as a series. I had no problem following the story and it didn’t feel like I was missing any information.

"...I really loved the humor in this book and would definitely continue reading the series to see what happens to the smaller characters mentioned in this book!"

A Novel Review blog

features "The XYZ Affair"

The much-followed A Novel Review blog recently posted its review of Mary Billeter's "The XYZ Affair," and offers much praise for the new book.

From the review:

"I love the idea of finding a body on campus and then having to find out who they are. Dani is a great character. She is witty, emotional, and knowledgeable. She was easy to relate to and I loved getting to know the whole cast of character in The XYZ Affair. As her relationships with her parents and with Gorm is shared throughout the book, I would find myself feeling sorry for her. She was twice divorced, unsure of her current relationship, and had a dad who was incredibly tough on her. Then on top of that she had to handle her father’s failing health and finding a body that definitely had some ties to her dad. It seemed like everything was piling up on her.

"This is a shorter book; I read it easily in a few hours. If you are looking for a quick and easy read I would recommend checking out The XYZ Affair."

Tumbleweed Book Reviewer blog

features "The XYZ Affair"

The well-known Tumbleweed Book Reviewer blog recently posted its review of Mary Billeter's "The XYZ Affair," and offers much praise for the new book.

Excerpts from the review:

"Love is never a nightmare…

"The XYZ Affair by Mary Billiter is a love/mystery novelthat just might have you questioning that very thought....

"One of my favorite things to do when I read any book, especially one with a mystery, is try to solve the book before it reveals the truth. I tried so very hard with this book but failed more than once. I was completely shocked by the ending. It was definitely an 'Oh snap, I didn't see that one coming' moment you won't want to miss!

"The XYZ Affair is different than the genre of books I usually read and it has opened my eyes to the different books out there. What happens when you're past the honeymoon stage? Do you make it work or let it go? And if you let it go, how can you let you heart do it again? Or even a third time."
